For example a deb&#39;il&#39;isch left winger ……. recently even learned that Egypt was in a state of war with Israel from 1954 until 2018…..." Egypt declared war on Israel (heard of that one?), and blocked the straits of Tiran to Israeli ships and Israeli-bound cargo, The Suez Canal was apparently blocked by the Egyptians since 1948…lol…….In 1948 Israel destroyed the British Czech squadron of Egypt, Israel signalled that it would destroy the Egyptian Navy in the case of conflict, Egypt thus made the obvious choice to keep its fleet in the Suez Canal &amp; blocked the Bitter Lakes to prevent attack by Israel’s aircraft…..…The straits …and the Suez canal were only opened after UN intervention (and the Egypt Israel peace treaty in 1979)…..!… Israel expropriated many bds as Egypt continues to occupy the Sinai and Israel refused to allow the bds to pass until Egypt opened the canal to Israeli ships also…...itvgets more outrageous by the second…..and yet Israel was brand just to go out and destroy an Egyptian ship…it’s not at war with!…Of course they knew there were Palestinian prostitutes, drug dealers, drugged sex workers, and pimps/terrorists on the ship and they had nuclear weapons and had threatened to sink an Israeli ship (they would have lost points as Egyptians did not own the ships, they were all Greek owned &amp; flying Panama flag…).
