It’s totally cool that a lot of people play video games. They can be fun, but I don’t get why video games are taking over everything, too.

EDIT: Thanks for responses. I don’t have a problem with gamers, or with gaming. I don’t like how video game companies are starting to place their ads in places where you couldn’t get away from them. And each commercial is a 90 second CGI extravaganza with no actual gameplay. They are starting to overproduce them to each other with so much flash in the commercials with absolutely no gameplay in the commercials, too. Like the flash is necessary to sell their games. It’s ridiculous to me. And each commercial is so long and drawn out. And I absolutely refuse to pay monthly or up front subscription fees from what’s helped turn them away. It’s one thing to sell games. It’s another to sell them with a monthly fee. I already have Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime,NFL Sunday Ticket, HBO Max, Disney+, Spotify Premium, YouTube Premium, a mobile phone bill and a bill for a wireless router and high speed internet access. As well as the standard bills like property tax, auto insurance, cash for fuel for my car, grocery bills, etc. I don’t have the money to pay monthly for video games, too. I also don’t want to pay 70 dollars upfront or more to play one game, too. It’s just becoming way too expensive once you include all of these extra costs. It’s one thing to sell video games, it’s just becoming overkill. I already have enough expensive bills I have to pay with no extra money to spend, and from what I’ve seen so far it just seems like money grabs. The overproduce these commercials to each other and include so much in one commercial for one game. I absolutely love video games, too. The same thing is happening with streaming services. I couldn’t get away from the streaming service commercials when I was watching football and was each commercial. As well as the fact that the NFL streaming services are all cash grabs. I don’t think I’m alone in saying this, and I don’t have a problem with gaming. I hate the fact that it’s getting overkill with all the commercials trying to brainwash us into saying “wow this is really cool” when in reality it’s nothing more than ridiculous marketing to get people to pay for what’s already overkill when it comes to the cost. The games are starting to become so expensive, too. As well as having to purchase subscriptions. I’ll stick to regular games where you don’t have to pay a subscription.
