AITA for refusing to name my son after me?

I am 12 and this is something I've been thinking about lately. My parents recently got divorced, and I live with my mom.<br><br>After the divorce my dad became very close friends with a guy named James. James is a 40 something year old man, and basically my dad's new best friend.<br><br>I don't really know why but for some reason my dads best friend James seems to think it would be a great honor to me if he if he knew that I look just like his son, who he also shares my birth name. I guess this is because my middle name is my dads first name and my first name is James.<br><br>Anyways I've been hearing James say that my name is the exact same name as his son, who was named after my dad, and that I look just like him, and that we are probably very similar people. I feel like this is creepy, and I don't know how to feel about it. I'm also kind of annoyed that my name is shared by some older man, and I'm starting to consider changing my name.<br><br>So I've been thinking about doing this, but my dad is really against it, and says it would be a great honor to him. He says he named me James after him, so he deserves a say in whether or not I change my name. I told him it's not an honor, and that I want to choose my own name.<br><br>I just wanted to know if I'm in the wrong here.
