Anybody can start a poker game, but only a real man can end one.

You sat scowling in your chair, rubbing your temples. The worst thing you can be in poker is unlucky. Okay, maybe that’s not entirely true. The worst thing you can be in poker is ”on Tilt. Tilt is when you start playing poker angry, ”on a tilt” if you will. Ironic, don’t you think? You’re not the worst thing in poker for being on tilt, but ”on tilt” is the worst thing in poker. Anyways, back to you.<br>You had done something pretty damn stupid, and you were rubbing your temples as a result. You glared at the poker table in front of you, the chessboard on top of it now nothing but a memory. You had never felt so stupid in my entire life. What had you done? Well, I’ll tell you.<br>A game of friendly poker chess ”Pokerchess” was going on, and you had already bluffed ”checkered” everything. Literally. You had put your house, car, new phone, everything on the ”board” for this last hand, so you already knew you were screwed. Why had you done it? Because you were on tilt, and you were dumb and angry? You had bet big on the last hand with a chess piece as your bet, and yet you had somehow lost. You had lost pokerchess.<br>You knew you’d never ”checkered” for pokerchess again.
