AITA for going No Contact with my mom after she said she doesn't want me in her "finite" time of life?

I'm 43 F so I get a lot more face time with my 75 F mother than I would with a son but still. I've been there for her for everything and I still will be for her. My mother has cancer and I am there for her and my brother for every doctor's appointment, hospital stay and she has said on more than one occasion now that she wants me to be there but then she will say things like she doesn't want me around because she doesn't want to waste the time she has left with a long process of watching me suffer through this and she has said she only has so much time on earth and she doesn't want to spend that on me. She has also said she wants to spend what time she has left with my brother because she will always be around him because he has kids she wants to be around and I don't have kids. <br><br>Well I've been around for her my whole life. I have spent time in and out of the hospital because of my health and I've never asked her for help or said she should give up her finite time for me. So I told her I would still be there for her but I don't want her around during any of my appointments or hospital stays. I will not go through any kind of treatment with her there. She has said she doesn't want to waste the time she has left on me so I said okay we will go no contact once you are out of time. We haven't talked in 2 months and I miss my mom but I'm also happy to not have her there and I feel like a weight has been lifted. I will always be there for her because she is my mom and that is what you do for your mom. <br><br>So am I an asshole?
