My (24F) boyfriend (25M) is a little too excited about the chance of me being pregnant.

My boyfriend and I have been together for about a year and a half. We are both sexually active and have been living together for the past year. He doesn't have any kids but I have a daughter (6).<br><br>Now, the reason why I'm even posting it here is because I'm feeling really confused and honestly a bit uncomfortable. I've been having a irregular periods and a bit of nausea but my boyfriend keeps on pushing me to do a pregnancy test. We were talking about the possibility of having kids of our own in the future but it would be too early for us to have a child together.<br><br>When I told him that I'm ready to do a pregnancy test, he just seemed way too excited about it and told me that he's been "dreaming" about having his own child. There's literally no way that we can have a kid at this point. We're still building our lives and careers so it would be totally unstable and unfair to a child.<br><br>The thing is that he's been pushing me to do a test in order to see if I am pregnant. I'm also getting a bit worried because I have an appointment with my OB-GYN next week. I'm afraid that if I'm not pregnant, he will be upset.<br><br>Any thoughts on how to handle this the best way possible?<br><br>UPDATE: I'm currently 5 weeks pregnant. Both of my pregnancies have been hard so I've been told to relax and not do anything that would stress me out too much. Thank you for all of the advice that I received.
