I am tired of people saying that 10 billion was too much for James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) since it was used in space research. - *What did you even get out of it??*

NASA spent over $10 billion on this machine which is just floating high above Earth taking pictures of stars and planets, and how does this help people on the planet? *Why would the government want to know this information?*

The answer is: **Not all people benefit from this at the moment.** Just imagine sending 1 dollar, or 1 euro etc every month to NASA. **Everyone sends 1 dollar, and nobody will be much poorer.**

When people get to live on Mars 1 dollar on Earth or 1 dollar on Mars would be the same. I think that the government should use 1 dollar *per person* to spend on the space projects. Imagine how many tax payers live in USA.

This should be world-wide, space research benefits the people of Earth, everyone should chip in.

**Buffalo News:** *The U.S. space agency has spent the equivalent of $8.7 billion developing the James Webb Space Telescope, with billions more spent on earlier telescopes to build a new launch vehicle, the Ariane 5 rocket from European Arianespace SA. The total cost, including five years of operation, is approximately $10 billion.*
