I got Covid-19 10 days ago, and now I'm wanted by the police for "endangering public's safety".

I'm happy to say that I've recovered from Covid-19. Now that I've recovered, I finally got out of my house to get some fresh air and I was met with police officers. They tracked me down after I spent some time outdoors (I went to the grocery store and the park for a walk). I didn't know how they found out until they showed me a video of me in the grocery store walking around without a mask.

I was terrified since I didn't know how they got the video or how I broke the law. All I know is that I received a call 3 days ago and it was from a health official that was asking me questions about my well-being as well as asking where I've been for the past 2 weeks. Since I wasn't feeling great, I thought it was weird but I went along with it.

Now, I'm wanted by the police for "endangering public's safety" even though I didn't show any symptoms, I'm not sick, and most importantly, I've already recovered from Covid-19. How can I be endangering public's safety when I'm no longer sick?

Even though I don't have any symptoms, I'm still required to wear a mask and I plan on wearing one because I don't want to infect anyone. I understand that my actions may have caused a lot of panic and I really didn't mean to cause this much commotion. I was just feeling cooped up at home.

I'm just really confused about all of this. Is what I did a crime? I don't mean to cause any harm.

I live in China:/
