If the Civil Rights movement happened today the Civil Rights activists would be called Terrorists by the Government

For decades the FBI used counter-intelligence tactics against civil rights groups, infiltrated and sabotaged them, <br>and they even went as far as to painting the Civil Rights movement as terrorism. <br>The FBI painted the Black Panther party as a terrorist group <br><br>What does this mean? <br>If the Civil Rights Act happened today, it would be painting as terrorism, anti-government, right-wing extremism, etc. The government would lose their minds <br><br>What's backwards about this? <br>The Government would support the Black Panther Party (now) because todays Republican party supports black nationalism to weaken black democratic support. <br>Right-wing media would be saying that the Government is tyrannical against blacks and painting the government as the enemy <br><br>Right-wing media would call the Government tyrannical for painting the Civil Rights movement as terrorism <br><br>Right-wing media would be advocating for Civil Wars to happen to support the Black Civil Rights movement <br><br>Using the Civil Rights movement for today's politics is just messed up considering how people have shifted sides on opinion.
