My mom is blind (due to retina issues) but has a seeing-eye dog, and it really blind people don't like that other people have seeing-eye dogs (because they aren't blind) and it makes me wonder if a seeing-eye dog can really be loyal to anything but their owner?

Cause I've seen a lot of videos of normal dogs not helping and also attack seeing-eye dogs. My moms dog is so loyal I can put food to his face and he'll take the blind cane before eating the food.
