Best Value For Money travel destinations in Europe

This year we spent some time in Greece and Crete. All mountain towns, cities and beaches that we went to have been absolutely stunning, food and booze was incredibly good value and overall we felt we spent much less compared to any other European countries we visited. Did anyone else have the same feeling?<br><br>What other European countries/cities do you feel offer the best value for money for this type of travel please?<br><br>Top contender for next year is Turkey but would love to hear your thoughts!<br><br>Thanks!
