AITA for making my husband apologize to my cousin for refusing to sell his car?

My cousin got married a few days ago. We had about 10 cars at the reception. My husband is in his 30’s and he’s really obsessed with his car. He got it brand new and his the only person who drives it. I drive my own car.<br><br><br><br>I had a small argument with my husband days before the wedding about something silly. basically he said I wore too much makeup and it made me look like a clown. I laughed it off but he insisted and told me that I look prettier with minimal to no makeup. I told him that he has no right to tell me that because he wears a lot of cologne that makes him smell like a grandma. He said that my cousin told him the same thing when he saw us at the mall. My cousin doesn’t really like my husband and it really made my husband upset when he first heard it and it also made him upset when I repeated it back to him when he was bugging me about the makeup. He said that my cousin was calling him a “grandpa” behind his back. I denied it but he believed me less when I denied it the more. He was so annoyed at it so he said he’s not going to bring his car to the reception anymore and called my cousin to tell him. He then hung up the phone and told me that he’s still bringing his car but my cousin is going to be carpooling to the reception because he’s “not his grandpa who owns a 1998 Honda civic.” This made me laugh. my husband refused to tell my cousin what he said exactly. On Monday, my cousin was over at our place and thanked my husband for letting him use his car that day. I was busy in the kitchen when I heard my husband yell and get mad at my cousin for thinking that he let him use his car. He really went off on my cousin and accused him of lying about the grandpa comment. This had been going on for about five minutes when I was done with whatever I was doing. My cousin looked really upset and asked my husband why he gave him the keys if he was going to go off on him for no reason at all. My husband said he didn’t give him the keys. My cousin said it was definitely my husband who gave him the car keys. My husband called my cousin a liar. My cousin went out to the back to grab a paper from his bag. My husband yelled at him for not taking his shoes off and accused him of trying to steal something from our my house. My cousin looked like he was going to cry. when he came back in, he showed my husband the keys and my husband began to silent and his face went pale white. He asked where he got that and my cousin said he asked my husband if he could borrow his car and my husband my husband showed him the keys in his pocket and gave them to him. He then said that he called my husband the night before the wedding and my husband told him that he sold his car to an old man but he’d let him borrow the old man’s car and that he’ll give it to him in the morning but only if he promised that he’d never lie to him again. Why husband kept insisting he didn’t sell his car and didn’t let my cousin borrow the car. At this point, I was mad at both of them and told them to just take the keys and go home. They both were yelling over each other and it was a mess. My cousin left mad so did my husband but not before I told him that it was BS. He came back a few hours and said that the night before the wedding, he was drunk and walking alone and he got mugged. The man took his keys but he got them back. when my cousin called, he answered and thought my cousin was the old man who mugged him. He said he thought he donated his car accidentally and felt sad that he didn’t get any money. he said he was confused and he told my cousin to never lie again and if he promised, he’ll give him the car he donated and that’s why he gave my cousin the keys the next day. I didn’t really believe him but I told him to drop it at that. He then kept insisting that he didn’t sell his car. I told him that it was no big deal for my cousin to borrow his precious car for a day but he kept saying he didn’t really let him borrow his car. it was already midnight and I was tired and didn’t want to argue anymore so I went to sleep in the other room so I wouldn’t have to listen to my husband argue with himself. The next morning, my husband woke me up and said that he’s really tired and asked what he said/did last night that mad me. I told him that he was lying and accusing my cousin of lying and stealing his car keys. he said he didn’t remember. I told him and his face went pale white. He asked me questions and I told him what my husband told me. He started to get mad and asked if my husband accused him of stealing his car again. I told him tell me what really happened so I can tell my husband. he said that he called my husband the night before the wedding and told him that he saw two old men looking at his car in front of the mall. my cousin joked and said “grandpa car”. My cousin was surprised but he said okay and my husband said back that he’ll give him the car keys the next morning but only if he promises to never call him a grandpa again, lie to him, or sell the car to an old man so my cousin promised and my husband my husband hung up. the next morning, my husband was drunk and sleeping on the couch in the living room. my cousin came over and my husband woke up. my cousin told my husband that he was there for the keys and how much money he owed so my husband gave my cousin the keys.
