Traveling across American in early March

I'm getting back from Europe at the end of February and plan to travel across the USA. I currently live in South Florida and want to drive across the USA to Las Vegas. I've only been on a road trip once before but only from New Jersey to Miami. <br><br><br>How long did it take you guys to drive from the East to the West Coast? I guess it would be a month long road trip across the American but I only have 4 weeks to do this. <br><br><br>How do you guys pack for a road trip ? I guess you would want to pack as light as possible with the least amount of luggage with you but it would suck not to have anything if you went hiking or camping outside. <br><br><br>Any tips for a road tripper? Do you guys recommend going North or South when driving across the country? Which side offers more scenic views and attractions?
