I truly believe that any person who tells you to "fuck off" and "go back" when you politely ask them a question on reddit is likely to be a spammer.

I've had this story happen to me countless times, I visit a thread, not knowing that it's a spammer post, and I politely comment it with something along the lines "This is fake, right?". Needless to say, you will be instantly downvoted by the spammer's followers, and one of them will come up to you and say something like this "FUCK OFF". We should all be extremely careful, to avoid the spammer algorithm trap.
