Hello everybody, <br><br><br>After all of the attacks on Israel yesterday, we are more than a little surprised to hear that the same people who called for boycotts before are calling for boycotts again. Calling for a genocide to happen to the Jewish people again. I am not going to lie. I am starting to see similarities between the Holocaust and this conflict. My grandma was a child in the Holocaust, she was 1 of the few survivors, she tells me what she remembers. The world doing nothing because they couldn't believe that this could happen. I can't believe that a small group of people can begin such a huge conflict like this. I want to believe that this isn't a modern day Holocaust, but the longer it goes on, the more I think that its going to end up that way. I hear from people around me that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinian people, but that isn't true. They are only fighting to keep the country alive. In the past, Israel tried to make peace with Palestine, but that went horribly wrong. Palestine has always had one goal in this conflict, to destroy Israel and take over the land, to make a Palestinian state. But we can't let that happen. I'm not going to let them take away my homeland and my history. I will always stand with Israel. Palestinians also scream genocide and call us oppressors. Can you see how ridiculous that sounds? We cannot oppress and commit genocide to people who wish to take over our land. We cannot oppress people who are trying to commit genocide on us. We will not let that happen. We will not be killed and thrown out of our homeland. <br><br><br>It is something to believe that the whole world needs to see that, no matter how much money and influence spheres, no matter how much media influence is thrown on the conflict, what is right is right. What is wrong is wrong.<br>Look at the last few days. We have had a massive terrorist attack against us. Multiple civilians injured and killed. What is the worlds reaction? We are the bad guys. We are too harsh on our response. We are terrorists and child killers. I have heard it all during these last few days. I can tell you, from being on the other side, that that is not how it is. <br><br><br>When you see these kinds of messages from people who never actually lived in Israel, people who never even visited Israel for more than 5 minutes, people who don't know the first thing about the conflict, people who never had rockets flying above their heads, people who never cried in their bomb rooms waiting for the booms to finish, people who never saw their country get blown up, people who never lost anyone in a terrorist attack, what do you do? Some people who don't know anything about the conflict just assume that Israel is the bad guy in the conflict. That is not true. Many people, especially from other countries, don't know that Hamas is a terrorist group who rules Palestine. Most of these people don't know that Israel is a democracy, that we are a real country with a real government. Palestinians scream and shout that they have been oppressed by us for years, but that is not true either. They are in charge of themselves. If they didn't have an organization that only cares to destroy Israel and is willing to kill their own people just make a point, they could have peace, better lives, jobs, families, homes, hope. But they are to busy teaching their children to hate and to kill Israelis. To busy strapping their children to their missiles and sending them into our territory. To busy telling the world that we are genocidal nuts who are trying to destroy them. To busy trying to kill us to figure out who is really being genocidal during this conflict. Right now, everything that Palestine is saying are all lies. Everything that they want is not peace and freedom. They want a new home for themselves, a home that is rightfully ours. They want to kill and oppress us until we either all die or get kicked out of our homeland and history. That is what they want. Not anything else. So please don't think that we are the bad guys. Please don't tell us that we are being to harsh on the terrorists who just killed something like 1100 of our civilians. Please don't tell us that we are being to harsh on our response to this conflict. Don't tell us that when the conflict is happening right in front if our faces, when we are the ones who have our loved ones being killed and injured by terrorists, don't tell us how we should respond to terrorism. <br><br>Please stop trying to erase us during these times of crisis against us all. We ask that you do that. We ask you to stop trying to kill us and take over our land. We ask that you let us have our freedom. We are not an oppressor. We are not genocidal maniacs who want to destroy Palestine. We are not monsters who want to commit genocide. We are people who want to live in peace, we are people who want to live our lives, we are people who want to work, earn money, go to school and learn, we are people who want to be with our families and friends, we are people who want to have hope for the future, we are people who want to live with human dignity. We just want to be people. And we wont let anything or anyone take that away from us.
