I destroyed a public restroom

When I was about 7 or 8 we were driving cross-country with my family and we stopped at a rest stop to use the restroom. Naturally, being young and stupid I decided I would flush a paper towel down the toilet and see what would happen. I knew it was a bad idea because the paper towel would not break up in water, but my curiosity overruled my intelligence this time. I crumpled it up and flushed it, and almost immediately the toilet started to overflow. I frantically started flushing over and over again trying to fix my mistake. It only made matters worse and the water started covering the floor. I panicked and ran out of the rest stop and into the car.<br><br>On the car ride my dad kept asking me if I was okay because usually when we stop at a rest stop along with doing my business I eat my snacks. I was too scared to tell him what happened so I kept the secret to myself. We didn’t stop at another rest stop for the remainder of the trip.
