I'm 14(F) and I got my period for the first time today.My friends have gotten theirs during Covid -19.I remember day one of quarantine I got spotting so I got excited and where my tampon and as you guessed I had spotting. I've been waiting for what felt like forever.Anyway I thought I was sick today.I wasn't feeling good went to the bathroom and I had blood.It didn't even click I thought I was sick.My mom though I was sick too until I showed her and she yelled "YOU GOT YOUR PERIOD! YOU GOT YOUR PERIOD!" I was like oh I'm not sick.My mom helped me put a tampon in and showed me how to use a tampon applicator.I still bleed alot though.It's my first time though.My mom said that will happen the first few months.Anyway I told her I didn't want to tell my dad and brother but she said that was wrong.I was pretty embarrassed about the whole thing.My dad said he was proud of me.My brother said I get free food so that's cool.Anyway I feel kinda weird now though.It's just weird.I'm bloated and crampy.My mom said to take Ibuprofen.
