AITA for refusing to let her go up ahead of the line to use her ticket on our first ride of the day when she had to find a lost child?

I (28M) went to an amusement park with my friend, Courtney and her friend, Olivia who I’ve known for a couple years, but never done anything with alone. As we were waiting in line for the first ride I told them that we’re ready to ride, so no leaving the line.
The ride is very confusing for reasons I’m about to explain, but I want to remind everybody that I’ve been to this park multiple times before which is why I knew what I was doing.

We used to be annual pass holders but this is the first time in years. I assumed they haven’t changed anything in terms of how the rides work. The park takes photos at the end.

My friend and I got through the line, scanned our ticket… expected picture to be taken, but for some reason, they were taking it at the end of the ride. We rode the ride and when we got off it, realised Olivia was no where in sight.

We looked everywhere and finally, I asked an employee about her. He immediately told us to go to guest services, which we did. I felt really bad throughout this whole process because I was worried about her and thought that she must’ve felt really alone.

I told them when I last saw her, and for some reason, they sent me back to the line where I first rode the ride. I was getting worried when I saw her. She had found a little boy who was lost, comforted him and stayed with him until employees found them both.

I was really impressed and I told her that she did a good thing. She seemed a bit annoyed with me. Anyway, we scanned our tickets and waited in line again. This time, we were finally able to ride the ride.

She still seemed annoyed with me so I brought up what happened earlier. She told me what I did was uncool, selfish and said I should’ve waited in line for her. She also said I didn’t let her go the front of the line when we finally got our tickets scanned when she came back to me.

I told her she had no business scolding me for encouraging her to do a good deed and waiting in line with her again. I’m also not going to let someone skip the line just because, unless I’m with a small child. Plus, she’s not even mad at me.

She said she should be treated like a child because what she did was so sweet and unselfish and I should reward her for that. I didn’t want to say anything, but I’ll say that she’s very selffish.

AITA?
