Is anyone else sick of seeing guys with closed eyes kissing their wife/gf?

I just don’t get the idea of taking a photo with your eyes closed, I feel like they’re trying to convey a sense of raw vulnerability, but I don’t see anything romantic in that, I’d rather kiss my wife with my eyes open, rather than closed.
