CMV: Religious freedom holds no place in modern society

Disclaimer: This doesn't mean that I think that people shouldn't be allowed to practice their religion. It's totally within your rights to practice basically any religion, but I think that religious freedom should not be an excuse for anyone to break the law. I'll give some examples of what I mean below.

When your religion imposes restrictions on a certain group of people, that's a problem. A big problem. By that logic, I'm going to start a religion tomorrow (let's call it Dragonism) where all women have to stay inside on Sundays. They cannot leave the house, unless it's an emergency, and all men must go to the local Dragonist temple, where we will eat bacon (Dragons love bacon) and worship dragons.

Now, all the women must stay home, and cook, clean, etc. But that's totally violating women's rights. I cannot impose my freedom of religion on others through the law. But the Catholic Church is a great example of one that does, A LOT. No priest is supposed to marry, the only sex they can have is with other priests. Totally ridiculous. They claim that it's all because of the priests' freedom of religion, but religion should only go so far.

Another great example is schools. There is a certain school district that has been in the news, where the freemasons (who have literal control over the school district) holds a meeting in the school every week, and has it's own class. Now, the freemasons are Christian, and they worship at this meeting. The class is literally a class to teach kids freemason secrets, and how to be a freemason. This is totally violating the first amendment, where it says that a school cannot teach a certain religion, or prevent any religion. But this school teaches Christianity, and prevents the other kids from getting an education, because they have to sit outside during the meeting. And you can't join the meeting if you're not Christian, because the freemasons only worship Jesus Christ, not any other Gods.

This brings me to the blood transfusion topic. As a lot of you know, both the Christian Scientists and Jehovah's Witnesses (both Christian denominations) believe that blood transfusions are not biblical. They wouldn't bat and eye if their child died because they wouldn't allow it, and if they ever were forced to, they would excommunicate their own child. And that's totally violating the child's rights. Not only can you force the child to be treated with a blood transfusion by the government, it's literally the duty of the government to do so. Religious freedom should only go so far, and it shouldn't be a good enough excuse for you to break the law.

So, can anyone change my view on this?

EDIT: I thought I'd make a quick list of stuff that you shouldn't do in the comments.

* Attacking me personally, like calling me "foolish", or "arrogant" will get you downvoted instantly. It is just attacking someone, and will get you nowhere.
* Talking about anything off-topic. If you mention your political stance, that's fine, so long as you mention something about the topic I'm talking about. Acting like a typical American and talking about politics when it's irrelevant will also get you downvoted.
* Threatening the mods with getting reported to the admins. They get a notification on every message that is reported, and they will see this even if you delete it.
* Insulting me about being young. Granted, I'm fairly young, but that doesn't mean that I know nothing about the world. I've been reading books since I was 3, and I know everything about science, history, and other topics. I've been reading the news everyday for the last 5 years. So, your accusations of being young will get you nowhere.

Also, the only real source I have is the one from the school district. I've been doing more research and basically everything else that I've written about is anecdotal, and I apologize for that. But I'll be doing more research, and I'll be updating and adding sources accordingly.

EDIT 2: Alright, so I decided that my topic wasn't specified enough to be taken seriously. The topic seemed way too broad, and I had to specify it. So, there's going to be a new topic. It should be up within the hour. Thanks to everyone for your input, and I hope to see you in the next topic! (This topic will most likely not be locked/blocked, because people are always welcome to discuss things.)
