How would you feel if Reddit started its own cryptocurrency called "RED" that you could earn from posting on any subreddit, make it illegal for subreddit to prevent crossposts, and start encouraging people to buy membership with RED? How long before the cycle would collapse?

It would be sent in the same way as Moons and people would be able to keep them Virtual Wallets or on other Virtual Wallet Applications. On the Virtual Wallet, there would be an application that would automatically convert some of the RED into USD Cash. The system would be open for redevelopment through subreddits like r/eth which is the Ethereum cryptocurrency subreddit.

This means that anyone can be a developer for our new cryptocurrency.

That's the idea. Kind of like a Reddit Native cryptocurrency, similar to the Moons in r/CryptoCurrency.

The subreddits that adopt this system early will benefit greatly. Similar to how whenever Facebook was getting popular. Everyone rushed in. Once the new system has penetrated the market, then it becomes the standard.
