What is nothingness and how to get there?

It seems clear to me that our universe exists and that it also will end, that I am alive and that I will die. It's difficult for me to imagine that before or after the universe exists nothingness is the only thing that exists, so I am starting a thread to see everybody's view on nothingness and how to get there.<br><br>What is nothingness? Is it the state of affairs when something doesn't exist? Well then takes place something which is that. So that is not nothingness.<br><br>So is nothingness clearly possible? Is something which doesn't exist truly nothingness? <br><br>And how can you become nothing when you exist?
