I was accused of being a woman

I've been playing a lot of Apex Legends lately, and I'm getting a lot of harassment and hate in my DM's. The reason for it is because a lot of people think I'm a woman, even though I'm not. I've even had people say "You're not a woman, you have a vagina, so shut up." I just don't understand how it's even possible.
