I understand why people fly solo on Thanksgiving.

A man I work with was bragging about 1 million smart home app that he got, his setup is nuts, so I jokingly asked if he couldn’t use that money to fly out for thanksgiving to be with his family. <br><br>He goes into this story about how the first time he did, his brother and his wife had him clean the fridge and also share a bed with 2 little kids, when he didn’t want to. He went home on black Friday. <br><br>And how last year he also flew home but they wanted him to sit at the kid’s table. <br><br>This year he is just flying solo and ordering a $70 turkey to be shipped to him. <br><br>Sounds a bit dramatic but I think it would be annoying as well.
