Why is anyone in the US rich?

I am not an American I come from a country with high taxes (50%) and I'm just asking out of curiosity because I see many rich people in America and I am wondering how they get that rich?<br><br>I know it is a stupid question because rich people exist almost everywhere. I just wanna know how is it possible to be a billionaire in America with the system of free capitalism and absolute freedom? What do you think are the reasons that separate the USA from other countries and make it a better place to be rich?<br><br>I would very much appreciate it if someone answered my questions and cleared up any confusion
