Recruit?

So as a transferred teacher, I have an incoming principal at my school, I was told that they really liked me or the previous principal told them I’m a good teacher but they need to get to know me and they want me to be on the leadership team. <br><br>All the teachers are telling me to run and that they are terrible. Saying this is the third principal in 3 years and they suck or the previous principal is a good principal and if they got rid of them then there is a problem. <br><br>Can someone please tell me what they are talking about as I am extremely confused.
