so my grandad worked in downtown seattle in the 1990's but he usually took an hour long walk home. he did this for many years every day without fail.

one day he was out on the street walking home in the same direction he did every day. it was pretty dark outside and grandad said there were a lot of people walking on the street as well.

he said he never really paid attention to other people walking in the street cuz he was so busy with work related things. but one day he noticed a guy in a yellow lance armstrong wrist band. he said it must have been early 2000's that it happened.

anyway he spotted this guy out the corner of his eye. because he had his head down he did not manage to get a good look at this persons face. it was only a brief glance that he was able to do. he looked back up at the street and noticed he was about 20 feet away from him. he said he noticed it was a man and he was wearing one of those yellow armstrong wrist bands.

and he said that in that moment he was startled to see that man so close to him and they locked eyes. he claimed it was almost as if they both realized it was each other. he did not manage to see the man's face but rather only his eyes which seemed to be locked onto his.

grandad said that from there they were already on top of each other. he said it might have been about 5 feet. so he said he reached into his back of his jeans and pulled out his 22 derringer.

and grandads exact words were ''and then i shot lance armstrong in the stomach with that little derringer. and he fell to the ground screaming''.

he said he could not make out what he was saying because he was screaming in agony. he said it was truly a sad sight but he said that he cannot blame himself. he said that in ''a split second you need to get ready to defend yourself''.

he said he could not let lance knock him out and beat him to death right there in the street. he claimed that from there he took off on a dead sprint through the streets ''like carl lewis''. he claimed it must have been a 3 kilometer sprint from downtown to the cops. he said that ''a kilometer is like 10 city blocks'' which he said seemed to be true from his own experience.

anyway, grandads exact words were ''i went straight to the cops, not the hospital'' ''i was not going to let lance beat my ass'' even if it meant the hospital. he said that he looked back and said it was a good thing he shot him ''before he got beat to death right there on the sidewalk''.

so he runs into the cops ''before lance gets there'' ''i was not gonna get beat'' he said. so he tells the cops ''and described ''the man with the yellow armstrong band'' which were very common at the time. he told me it was a popular accessory''.

he said he could not make out the face but it was definitely ''a man who was taking ''roids'' and was huge for the average man of that stature. which he said he estimated to be around 5''9. because he had his head down he did not get a good look at the man. he said ''looking at a person is not in my nature'' ''im a very inattentive person''.

anyway, he said ''i shot lance and he had a guttural scream. he fell to the ground screaming and that was it'' ''and i took off to the cops and thats how i caught lance''.

i asked him how many shots did he fire? and he told me it was only one. ''one shot killed him'' ''.22 is extremely lethal'' ''that little derringer packs a big punch'' ''im not saying he died, but that ''one shot was more effective than if he had 8'' ''i blame it on the .22'' ''i put it in his stomach'' ''5 feet may as well be point blank'' ''ive done it for years and learned that .22 is an extremely effective round at taking down people'' ''i may not be big, but with that little derringer its like i have a 357 magnum''.

anyway, he said ''i felt bad for shooting him'' but he said ''i had no choice''. lance ''had his arm cocked back'' and ''was about to knock me the fuck out'' ''my response was ''fuck no'' ''and that was it''. ''i was not gonna let lance beat my ass'' he said.

anyway he said ''i never witnessed the funeral'' ''i just said fuck it'' ''i did not wanna be there'' ''i did not wanna see his family in tears'' ''i had no remorse for him. he knew better'' ''thats what i told the cops'' ''i just shrugged it off'' ''he knew better''.

hello.

PS: ''ord lance armstrong rest in peace'' -grandad ''''also known as the cycling legend''''

EDIT: google grandad ''and you might see his name pop up'' ''makes me proud'' ''one on one grandad took on lance ''and grandad came out on top'' ''lets see lance do that'' ''grandad is in his 70's and even today he can still take on lance'' ''grandad may not look athletic, but he has done more sport in his life than any other man on the planet'' ''and he would still do it. he can still do it'' ''because grandad is gifted'' ''gifted beyond all other athletic capabilities'' ''lance never stood a chance'' ''grandad knocked lance out cold'' ''and he gave him a belly rub afterward'' ''i am not calling lance a dog but grandad is so legendary'' ''lance had no chance'' ''he was beaten'' ''he would never stand a chance against grandad'' ''that is very true'' ''no man can beat grandad'' ''because grandad is the greatest athlete of all time'' ''and he would still ''one on one'' knock lance out right now ''and he is in his 70's'' ''grands is like the chosen one'' ''he has an athletic ability that ''no other man could ever have'' ''because grandad is gifted'' ''and he always will be'' ''and lance cannot do anything about that'' ''because lance already ''lost'' ''ord lance armstrong'' ''i should tell him that''

''i blame it on the .22'' ''ive done it for years'' ''i may not be big'' ''my response was ''fuck no'''' ''i already knew'' ''i knew it might get ''brutal'' ''i just shrugged it off'' ''i already knew''

EDIT: ''i cannot blame myself'' ''makes me sad'' ''i cannot let lance beat my ass'' ''that is very true'' ''and it always will be'' ''one day we will truly ''remember'' ''i would still do it'' ''because grandad is gifted'' ''and it is very true'' ''i already knew'' ''before lance started ''to scream'' ''i knew it might get ''brutal'' ''i shot lance'' ''feeling bad'' ''so he fell to the ''ground screaming'' ''i already knew'' ''before lance started ''to scream'' ''i knew it might get ''brutal'' ''because grandad is gifted'' ''so he took off on a 3 kilometer sprint'' ''and it already set in'' ''i already knew'' ''before lance started ''to scream'' ''i knew might get ''brutal'' ''i already knew'' ''before lance started ''to scream'' ''i knew might get ''brutal'' ''because grandad is gifted'' ''but still he did it'' ''because he already ''knew'' ''because i am the ''gifted one'' ''i already knew'' ''before lance started ''to scream'' ''i knew might get ''brutal'' ''because grandad is gifted'' ''because i am the ''gifted one'' ''i already knew'' ''before lance started ''to scream'' ''i knew might get ''brutal'' ''because grandad is gifted'' ''and he already ''knew'' ''i already knew'' ''before lance started ''to scream'' ''i knew might get ''brutal'' ''because grandad is gifted'' ''but still he did it'' ''and it was ''brutal'' ''so he took off on a 3 kilometer sprint'' ''grands ran ''like carl lewis'' ''grands ''left lance on the ''ground screaming'' ''so he took off on a 3 kilometer sprint'' ''grands ran ''like carl lewis'' ''grands ''left lance on the ''ground screaming'' ''so he took off on a 3 kilometer sprint'' ''grands ran like carl lewis''
