Why do men like this?

There is this one man that I’ve known since we were kids and he has been one of my best friends since we were about 10-12. Well when we got older he changed a lot and he’s become very misogynistic and just an asshole. I think he’s been hanging out with other people that have these same kind of views. It’s just really disturbing to see someone that was once a good person become such a horrible person. <br><br>One time he told me he wanted to go on a killing spree and it would be easier for him to get away with it if he was a woman. <br><br>Another thing is I’ve heard him say that he would date a girl with a learning disability and a lot of the other guys I know don’t find that funny. They just don’t understand how his brain works. He’s actually very smart but has a hard time functioning in the real world. He’s very self conscious about his appearance and is insecure. He has a hard time making friends because he doesn’t know how to communicate with people and is very awkward. He has a lot of these mental issues that I think just stem from not being loved or accepted by people. <br><br>I’m a female and I know how hard it is for women and I just don’t get how men can be so cruel and not care.
