Seeing more guns in non gun owners hands in the civilian world

I carry with me a Glock 43 and I have a short barrel AR for home defense i mostly carry the Glock cause i really like the size and how they function , I have been in the Army for 7 years but only since 2 months ago actually started to carry a pistol outside not in my car but actually on me everywhere.. I used to be anti carrying firearms i'd see idiots on YouTube with their impractical Glocks with all kinds of attachments for the sake of carrying it in a car or something.. , I have been noticing more people in my area (Alaska.. Juneau) i see people i know from work and i can kind of tell if they have a gun on them it's the first thing i look at .. not because i feel endangered but because i think it's cool almost and it makes me happy that people are exercising their rights , this might be a biased view from my small town in alaska but i really like seeing the trend, im only 26 so maybe people were doing this all the time idk , just wanted to hear some people's thoughts , let me know if you have been seeing more people carrying guns in your State
