How much of philosophy is about the analysis of ordinary language?

This project gained popularity with the work of G.E.M. Anscombe, P.M.S. Hacker, Saul Kripke, Barry Stroud, Paul Horwich, and others, and seeks to understand the meaning of phrases we use to describe people's mental-states through the analysis of ordinary language developed by Wittgenstein, mostly in his book The Philosophical Investigations.
