Two wrongs don't make a right

I'm sure we've all heard this phrase at some time in our lives. The phrase is trying to make amends on the same issue by hurting each side equally. I thought this was a good phrase to live by when I was a kid, and I still do now as an adult. I used to think I could fix issues like this because the two wrongs would now make a right.

Unfortunately, that's not the case. This phrase is so naive and it shows in today's society. Most women think the solution for too many men committing suicide is to convince more women to commit suicide. Most women think the solution for earning less pay than men is to take away men's jobs and give them to women, so we can earn equal pay. There's many more examples like this, but that's just a couple.

In the past I always thought the two wrongs would make a right, however the "two wrongs" are still two wrongs that don't quite cancel out. I think it's everyone thinking the two wrongs will make a right that cause the biggest number of problems. Yes, two wrongs will make things better, but it doesn't make it the right.
