AITA for telling my MIL that we will get a divorce if she doesn't stop telling us what to do with our kid?

I have a 7mo daughter and whenever my MIL offers to babysit I feel happy because it's my MIL who doesn't charge us a single penny. My wife is on the same page as me. We even told our MIL that we are really thankful for her support but she was quick to state that it's her "granddaughter" and it's her duty to "take care of her." It's been a wonderful time and she was very helpful and kind. I loved having her around as much as I could, but lately I've been getting a bit frustrated with her.

She recently told me that my wife and I should adopt a more traditional parenting approach with our kid. It doesn't really matter what she said but it's pretty much like the whole "you're doing it wrong" lecture. I was pretty cool with it and told her that "yeah! She's right!" To show her that we appreciate her opinion, but in reality it bothered me a little bit. But once again, I didn't want to rock the ship.

Few days ago, my wife and I were discussing names for our little girl and we have a pretty good short list. We asked MIL to pick one out of the three that we gave her but she declined the offer and instead gave us her own suggestion. I was a bit surprised that she declined but I was okay with it and I appreciated her opinion. I even told her that it was really nice of her to give us her opinion.

But what happened was that my wife was pretty upset and mad at her mom for constantly trying to control us and our parenting approach. I tried to talk her out of it but she said that her mom is trying to force us to do this and that, and it's pretty frustrating. So the next day when my MIL came over, my wife blew up at her and told her that she can't "control us forever" and that we're pretty much on the same page as her when it comes to parenting so she shouldn't try to control us. My MIL was pretty shocked, but I know my wife pretty well so I knew that she was planning on doing that.

From that point on, MIL doesn't talk to my wife because of what she said to her. So whenever she comes over, she just completely ignores my wife and only talks to me and our kid. My wife doesn't even care at all and whenever my MIL drops our kid off, she just takes her and tells me "make sure your mom doesn't talk to me."

But MIL was pushing my patience to the limit yesterday when she told me to "watch out" and "be careful" with my wife because she "seems to be a little bit crazy." This was the last straw for me, so I snapped at her and told her that I'm gonna divorce my wife if she doesn't stop telling us what to do with our kid. She looked pretty shocked, but I stood my ground and told her that I deserve better than her because she's been treating me like a slave ever since my wife and I had our kid. She eventually left without saying anything, but I could tell that she was pretty upset.

My wife and I are on the same page regarding this, and we're going to keep our marriage strong no matter what.
