So what really is the afterlife? And how do we get there?

If we're in a simulation then there must be an afterlife. And what's the deal with reincarnation? I've seen posts on this subchambers where some people believe that everyone in the afterlife is in some sort of purgatory until they're reincarnated. But where do we go if we get reincarnated into another life? And what do you think the afterlife really looks like?
