I know a guy who died after receiving the Covid vaccine.

An old friend from high school works as an ICU doctor and he posted some story on his FB wall about his hospital having successfully resuscitated a patient after a routine check-up went wrong and the patient suffered from stress cardiomyopathy... In the comments another doctor friend joked that clearly the patient had received the Pfizer vaccine and that's what caused it.<br><br>Now, I know people who've had really minor side effects from it (I'm waiting for my turn, hopefully in the next two weeks), but I also know a guy who got it and two days later he was dead.<br><br>He got the jab around noon, and shortly after he felt unwell. He went to the hospital, they kept him there for observation, and around 8pm he was gone.<br><br>His wife was called to the hospital, she had just spent the evening with their kids at home, waiting for his return, and the next thing she knew, she had lost her husband, and her kids their dad.<br><br>I'm sure many people have experienced this, and many doctors too, but I just feel like I need to say it out loud, to someone.<br><br>The guy who died was a former classmate of mine. We weren't great friends, only acquaintances, but still...<br><br>An extremely healthy and well trained guy, hiker, with no problematic medical history whatsoever. His wife who was also a close friend of mine, was also extremely shocked and in pain when it happened.<br><br>I also feel like the doctors' jokes were in bad taste and now I cannot help but feel that they've somehow given him the boot. Will they be capable of saving the next person in need, when they have the audacity to make a sick joke like that?<br><br>They're the ones who are still working to save lives as the pandemic drag on for months, and I'm just a nobody who cries in his room every night.<br><br>Edit: please stop with the Covid deniers' comments. I know the guy, I know his family, and I know he died because of the vaccine. It's not because I'm an "anti-vaxxer" that I posted this.
