Men do not take care of ourselves like we should.

I’m sorry, but if the internet has taught me anything about the male gender it’s that overall men in general do not take good care of themselves. Mentally or physically. And there are a lot of factors that can affect this but that doesn’t mean they aren’t our responsibility to handle. I know a lot of guys who are otherwise awesome and cool dudes who won’t go to therapy or the doctor no matter what. I know awesome men who have never learned to cook for themselves, or clean for themselves, etc. And the lack of mental care we get really hurts the people around us.<br><br>I know a lot of guys who will let acne ruin their face over the years but won’t go see a dermatologist. I know a lot of guys who are unwilling to go to the doctor and then are shocked when they get diagnosed with something serious. I know a lot of guys who can barely clean their own rooms or do their own laundry.<br><br>There are obviously a lot of great men out there who do take good care of themselves, but I think we all know at least one guy who refuses to take care of himself no matter how much you try to convince them otherwise. And I know the internet isn’t a good place to get picture of men as a whole, but it seems like a lot of guys are falling into this category lately. So I just wanted to say, let’s all take care of ourselves guys, for our own sakes and for the sakes of those who care about us.
