The Olympics are supposed to be apolitical. The Olympics are about the peaceful, international celebration of sports, athletic competition, and human achievement.<br><br>In direct contradiction to these ideals, athletes from the People's Republic of China are subject to intense scrutiny by CCP officials when they return home if they don't perform well. They are subject to "re-education" and imprisonment.
