I stole gas when I worked at the gas station and the district manager knew and let me do it.

I worked at a gas station for 5 years and one of the perks was the district manager let me steal gas as long as I did my job to his standard.<br><br>I made sure I worked hard as hell, stocks were always full, we always had all the necessary items, and I was always on time. He knew that I didn’t have much money, had a daughter and had to commute an hour to work.<br><br>Honestly, the only thing that stopped me from doing it more often was the guilt. It was nice but I couldn’t tell anyone and I just felt like I was doing something wrong even though I had permission.<br><br>Edit: for clarity the district manager WAS NOT my direct supervisor, he was just in charge of multiple stores.
