In the moments right before we die, when we are in the moment of transition between life and death, our subconscious tries to hold on to what it knows so it doesn’t just shut down. This is the moment when we are most susceptible to suggestion.

They don’t want us to remember anything strange or unusual that happens during the day. They want to erase our memory of the world and replace it with a false narrative, and they do it while we are in this vulnerable state, just as we are about to die.

And because we have no way to verify the reality of our memories, we end up believing anything. This is why we all believe the same lies, and that is why we can’t remember anything unusual or strange about our lives.
