I don't think people realize how much time they spend staring at a blank wall when they are at work or school. I believe that we are living in a simulated world.

The idea of our world being simulated has been around for a while, but I never thought that it could be true. I have always been curious about the simulated world theory but I always thought that it was a crazy idea. But after this video comes up on YouTube I decided to look more into it.

So, if we are living in a simulated world what does that mean? The theory is that the simulated reality is being ran on some kind of computer system and that everything you see in our world is just a program running on that computer. This theory makes a lot of sense because we spend about 40 hours a week staring at a screen of some sort whether that be a monitor at work or school, a phone, or a tablet. So if that's the case then we are already spending a lot of time staring at some kind of monitor, and it would make sense that we are already living in a simulated world.

Another thing that I think about a lot is dreams. Sometimes you will dream about doing something that you did in the past and it will seem so real that it's not until you wake up that you realize that you weren't actually doing it again. But what if this is a simulation and everything we are doing in our waking lives is a simulation too. I've seen videos where people have reported that they can manipulate the world around them by thinking about it in certain ways. For example a woman was reported to have flown across a room by focusing on a certain point and then lifting herself up off the ground and flying across the room.

If this theory is true then what does that mean. It seems like this would be a pretty good life. If this theory is true then it would make sense that our lives are simulations being ran by some kind of AI. That means that you don't have to work 8 hours a day Monday to Friday just to be able to live. It seems like this would be a pretty good life, but is that all there is. If this theory is true then we could be simulations of real people and just think that we are living a life when really we aren't. That seems pretty sad when you think about it. We go to work every morning, we go to school, we watch TV, we hang out with our friends, we date, and all of these things seem like real things but if this theory is true then they aren't. This seems like it could be the most depressing theory ever.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think that we are living in a simulated world. I don't know if we are or not but if we are then that's kind of a sad thought. If we aren't then that's a great relief.
