Someone tries to join my table basketball game in my basement and doesn’t know how to shoot and I help them practice. Then they finally start getting 2-3 buckets a row in basketball and send me a Venmo request for $1500. Top 5 most shocking moments for me in my life <3.

This is my first post on Reddit and it isn’t much, just a tip. But if you ever have someone come to basketball at your house make sure you have a clear understanding of money bets or costs to play you before the game starts. Because no one likes bad debt collectors.

Edit: I feel like my story is being misinterpreted or exaggerated. Very simply, basketball in my basement is $25 per person. This person refused to pay $25. I said fine, let’s play a game. Every time you make a basket, that’s $25. We played and I spent 90 minutes of my free time practicing with her and allowed her to shoot first. I only shot .36% in college FYI.

She won 3 games out of 11 or something and I was a good sport and paid her $60 / $75 as she asked for $60. Very simply, top 5 most shocking moments. This is my first Reddit post, my first post as an adult. Thanks for the silver!
