AITA for cancelling my daughters birthday due to her disrespectful behavior?

Hello all, I have a 16 year old daughter named Fiona. She has a sister, Maisey (14) and a brother, Cameron (18). <br><br>Fiona had a trip planned for her 16th birthday, it was suppose to be for 3 days and 2 nights and was going to happen on the weekend of her birthday. Now the rules for it was no electronic devices, expect for her phone and camera. This was for all 3 of my children as well. <br><br>Well the day comes and we all hop on the plane and head to our destination. Now my husband and i gave the strict instruction of NO OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES BESIDES PHONE AND CAMERA. Well while we are waiting for our flights to leave, i see Fiona playing on her portable gaming system. I ask her what is that and she says it’s nothing. I reach over, and sure enough it was her gaming system. <br><br>Now her and i have butted heads before, but for the most part she is a good girl. I take the game system and put it in my bag and tell her that she is going home. She asks why and i tell her she is going home due to her ignoring what her father and i have said. <br><br>She told me she was still going on the trip and that i couldn’t make her go home. I told her i could and said shes going home. Shes started to get hysterical and started to throw a fit, telling me i was a horrible mother and that i was ruining her birthday. Then she said i didnt have to come if i was so concerned about the stupid game system. <br><br>At this point Shes screaming really loud now and drawing attention to herself. Her father got up and grabbed her arm and told her that she was going home and if she didn’t stop this nonsense he was also going to punish her. <br><br>She told him to get off of her and leave her alone. At this point a few people started to stare. Shes still talking and just being over all disrespectful. Security came over and asked what was going on. They asked her to step aside with them. Now i don’t know what they told her and to be honest i don’t really care, but what i do know is that she is now going home. <br><br>This trip had been planned for months and i was really looking forward to spoiling my daughter and really celebrating her turning 16. I was so excited to spend some much needed quality time. <br><br>Now im being told by some of my family and friends that i was harsh on her and i should have just let her have the game system because it was her birthday and it would be okay as long as she had it in her bag.
