My husband got a vasectomy before meeting me, and I’m not sure if it’s a good or bad thing to be honest.

So a few things first. I don’t want kids. I’m from a massive family and I’ve always known I’m never having kids. I’ve had this conversation with my husband and he also doesn’t want kids. He’s had a vasectomy. I’ve used bc for years, but to be honest don’t have insurance at the moment and finding a new OB is hard. It’s been a crappy few months. But I bring this issue up to him and he vehemently says no. I’m always tired, I work, don’t have time, etc. But before meeting me he had a vasectomy. Am I being paranoid to think:

A. This isn’t my first world problem

B. If he wants me to keep proving every month that I’m not pregnant - maybe he feels like I’m going to trick him into getting me pregnant. I feel like I’m doing all the proof and it’s fucked up. I also feel stupid to think like that.

C. No big deal, he ripped the band aid:

D. Is this a thing for men? I’m not sure if I’m being overly sensitive or not. What does everyone think?

Tl;DR my husbands had a vasectomy before meeting me, he’s not willing to use bc, but I don’t want kids.
