Feels like no one talks about this anymore but burst into tears for no reason at random times throughout the day or other random signs of what could be poor mental health.

I used to burst into tears regularly and no one said anything. It went on for years. I knew something was wrong and hid it from everyone but the tears wouldn’t stop. At 19 years old it escalated to my first suicide attempt. I tried many times after that, I was treated for it, I felt better, I didn’t feel better, and now I’m okay.

Mental health is so important! Random tears, random naps, random eating, random moods, beating yourself up over mistakes, self blame, criticize yourself, can’t or don’t want to go outside, can’t concentrate, random pain ect. These are just a few examples but there are so many signs that can be brushed off and minimized by even yourself or the people closest to you. And then you wake up one day and feel like you can’t take it anymore. Pay attention to yourself and your loved ones. Ask yourself if everything is okay and get a professional opinion if you feel its necessary.

Edit: Oh my! More of you cry than I thought. To clarify I didn’t just cry. A normal day would start with crying, then I’d stop, I would be fine, I’d get angry, I’d cry again, I’d pass out, I’d wake up and repeat. I had a lot of other symptoms as well. Crying is completely normal but if you cry all the time, randomly, can’t stop, or cant feel anything at all, these are warning signs.
