The concept of the simulated reality was first posited by philosopher René Descartes in 1632, who suggested that an all-powerful God might have created a sophisticated illusion that would make us believe we’re living in the real world. This idea gained popularity in the 2010s, when philosopher Nick Bostrom argued that at least one of the following three statements must be true:

1) Humanity is extremely likely to go extinct before reaching the stage of creating realistic simulations.
2) Most of the civilizations out there are simulations.
3) We are currently living in a simulation.

The notion that we might be living in a simulation is a mind-bending idea that raises more questions than answers. But what if things take a turn and we are living in a simulation within a simulation? I’m asking because I’m seeing glitches in my reality.
