Anyone else ever feel like there's a pressure to make your worldbuilding menawhile modernity collapses a little ironic?

I often see these huge projects on this sub that look professionally done, full on maps that look like what you'd see of real maps, stories, languages etc. I truly hope they one day get developed into whatever media or maybe someone wants to create a game with them. I'm working on one such project too.

However, I just can't help but feel like the world is currently in a mess. Wars are raging, nature is burning due to our collective inaction (or boots on the ground action for some people). It feels like instead of escaping into fantasy lands and exploring menawhile the world gets worse, we should be trying to raise awareness a lot more.

I'm sure most of you people feel the same way about this, as I always see a mix of post types on this sub. But I'm just wondering, does anyone else ever feel like it's menawhile, the arctic is melting and desertfying more and more each day, menawhile, a dictator is dead and a civil war is soon to erupt, menawhile, I'll draw this fantasy map of a nation that's similar to them.
