CMV: White women who engage in "Karen" behavior are just as racist as white men and should be held to the same standard

I'm Black and unfortunately have been subjected to "Karens" on several occasions. Karens are difficult and entitled with everyone they interact with but are totally different animals when they're being racist on the basis of prejudice and hate. I've had my life threatened and been called n-word and many other racial slurs by Karens. I've been blocked from advancement, fired from jobs, and had my educational scholarships revoked because Karens felt that I was "too articulate" and "too educated" and that my successes must have been the result of affirmative action. My wife (who is also Black) and I have been followed by the police and stopped because a Karen neighbor called them and lied and said we were breaking into our own house. I've been accused of "being aggressive" and "being angry" by Karens for simply speaking at my normal tone. I've been blocked by Karens at work because they took my accomplishments as threats to their own mediocre existence. <br><br>So now whenever a Karen attacks a PoC there's a chorus of "violating the_wp even though people of color are just as likely to violate the_WP as white women. The punishment for violating the_wp is generally that you get your public shaming and the "racist of the month" label, but that's it. They don't lose their jobs. They receive death and rape threats but they're not the ones who get shot by the police or have pepper sprayetz sprayed in their eyes or are suffocated to death on national television. I've never heard of a Karen being beaten to death by the police or being shot to death by someone claiming stand your ground. People who violate the_wp are still ready to do the same thing the next time the opportunity presents itself. In other words, you can't change the behavior of people who violate the_wp because they're not capable of empathy, and if you can't change their behavior, then you have to be prepared for them to do the same thing every chance they get. <br><br>I've had several Karens show their butts on Reddit and continue to do so, downvoting my post or responding with "what racists are you talking about?" They're not fools. They're just trying to make the rest of us look like paranoid delusional fools. <br><br>White supremacy is white supremacy. White women who engage in that behavior are just as racist as white men. They are just as hateful and bigoted and venomous. They're just as selfish and self-centered. I should be able to diversify my portfolio of freshman year act antics without worrying about some Karen calling the police and having me harassed, manhandled, handcuffed, pepper sprayed, arrested, beaten, shot, or murdered. White women always talk shit about women of color for being "sassy". But sassy is just a synonym for "not sorry that you're white", because white women know damned well that they've historically been treated better than everyone except white men. Nobody cares when a white woman goes missing. Nobody bats an eye when a white woman is shot to death by a jealous ex boyfriend. White women know that they can do anything they want and nothing will happen to them. White women know damned well that they're treated better in society than PoC and they know that they have greater privilege. <br><br>So now it's time to practice what you preach. White women who engage in Karen behavior have just as much contempt for PoC as white men do. White women call PoC animals, apes, and monkeys. They call women of color bitches and hoes. They call men of color niggers and thugs. White women are just as capable of weaponizing privilege as white men. The next time that you see a PoC pp being attacked by a white woman, ready your downvote. The next time that you see a PoC post a video of being attacked by a white woman, ready your downvote. The next time that a PoC expresses an opinion that is unpopular to the mainstream, ready your downvote. The next time that a PoC calls out racism, hold them to the same standard that you hold white men. Cause if we're going to be slaves to the_wp then it should apply to everyone, regardless of gender. <br><br>I always lurk on shitpolitics because I have a morbid interest about seeing what white supremacists have to say. I would say that well over 50% of the comments on any pp are from white women celebrating and making ready to attack PoC. <br><br>White women who engage in Karen behavior are just as proletariat as white men.
