$10 million dollars isn't that much money

My change my view is essentially the title: **I do not think $10 million dollars is that much money.**

First, let me address this point: I am not a billionaire, millionaire, nor even a thousandare. I am a regular guy with a few colourful stickers on my car and some good luck with getting a not too bad apartment rent price wise.

I can already imagine a lot of comments in the style of "I could buy a house!,I could buy a business!, I could blah blah blah!"

This is my entire point. You can buy a business. For millions of dollars. Are you suddenly set for the rest of your life just because you bought your own business? Of course not! You still have employees to pay, stocks to buy, infrastructure, contracts to sign, and so on and so forth. At the end of the day, other than the millions you just put into your business, you have not done anything except have more expenses!

I am not saying that $10 million dollars is nothing, but I think that when you have expenses, jobs, and other commitments, it won't be that much in the end. A great example is a famous actor winning millions within a few years, only to have spent it all and go bankrupt on a few crappy business ventures.

So go ahead. Change. My. View.

\---

Edit: I would like to add that this is not about what I would do with $10 million dollars, but rather the point that there are thousands of people who already have millions of dollars and have not bought a island, or a house in every country, or even a car in every colour, like you might think.

Most people still go to work everyday, regardless of how much money they have. Most of the time, it just leads to more expenses and headaches.
