Silencers are going to be banned

With all the gun stuff that happened this summer and everything that just happened, I can guarantee that Biden is going to sign the repeal the hearing bill into law. Don’t care who you vote for in the next presidential election, it will not matter. The agenda is in motion, and it will not stop until all silencers are banned and everyone who currently owns a silencer will have to turn them in to the government.

ETA: “why are they dangerous?” “why are they useful for criminals at all?”

1. They can be cut down to about the length of a soda can. This is obviously more concealable than a full silencer. S&W makes some very concealable auto handguns, which can be silenced just like the James Bond movies. You truly can conceal a silenced auto, and if you do it with a rifle, it’s a lot easier to conceal than a full length rifle.

2. In general, they make it a little harder to hear the exact location of the shot. So in the dark or in a crowded area, it makes it difficult to pinpoint the location of the shot.

I don’t know if you’ve ever shot suppressed outside, but it makes a huge difference. Usually you can tell exactly where a gun goes off by the sound. It’s kind of difficult to explain, but you just kind of *know* where the shot came from. That doesn’t happen with suppressed. You can tell that a gun has gone off, but you have no idea where the shot came from.

3. I personally know of one instance where some racist white guys who saw a black guy walking down the road, fired a few rounds at him from a suppressed handgun. This was probably just for fun, to scare the guy, not to murder him. The guy survived, and he never knew that a gun had been fired. It was purely malicious, and easy due to the silencer.

If you think none of this will happen, you’re in denial. We’re not in the minority anymore. We’re going to lose silencers. We’re going to lose a lot of other things.
