My wife sometimes uses phrases like “I’m such a dumb bitch” or “I’m a fucking bitch. Why does nobody get my simple instructions right?” I told her it’s very problematic to refer to herself (and women in general) as a bitch. She said that’s just a figure of speech that doesn’t mean anything. I told her that whether it’s a figure of speech or not, it’s still very problematic. She said she’s gonna keep doing it and it’s not a big deal.
