Possible alien sighting? ESP? What the heck just happened to me?

I am 100% serious. I was just walking down my street enjoying the view of the river. There is a bend where the river meets my street and I always see the same man talking to someone at that turn... Even if there is no one else there. So, today I approached from the same angle as before and as I walked by, I said “finishing up your phone call?” And he replied “oh you can see her? She isn’t my wife, but I like her. Why can you see her?” I honestly have no idea. All I know is that I have seen her before and hadn’t given it much thought. She looked like someone my mom used to know. I honestly can’t remember the entire conversation now but at one point she leaves and I ask him why he always talks to someone no one can see... And he said she’s not here at the moment and, “do you know who I am?” So I said no and he said “I am [he said a name that is very similar to someone who I follow online]”. I said, “I watch your videos, you’re a really, really smart man. And if we are in some kind of alternative universe right now, mission success. ESP? Possible alien/imposter?” He just replied, “Not alien, not imposter. And this isn’t an alternate universe. This is the next place. She’s not here yet, so I talk to her whenever I can, here. And I like watching you walk your dog.” Which was really weird because I don’t walk a dog, but once or twice a week I walk by his house and wave at him. I do walk with my son though. He also said I remind him of someone he likes very much. Are they aliens/imposters? What the heck just happened? I’ve had some weird dreams/imposter encounters lately, but this was in real life.
